You have always been a point of radiant light in my life. I love being an observer of and a participant in your life. You have brought me much needed comfort in my times of need, more laughter than could fill the Coliseum, and enough honesty to keep me for dipping below into the dregs. You are what a family member should be, and even more, you are my friend, my peer, and a prism in which the light of humanity and goodness refracts out of. The power of blood that links us together is only matched by the love and respect that I have for you. Go, ahead, young man, with my blessings always, for you will never be without it, all the days of your life. As you head into the sun, know you can count on me always, as my life has more value with you in it. I love you.
